  1. Provide advice and / or useful opinion
  2. Aim to provide lasting value: tackle topics that are perennially of interest
  3. Provide a ‘human’ angle
  4. Try to limit posts to 500 words. (You may wish to split longer posts into a series)
  5. Use short, catchy titles
  6. Use a friendly, informal tone and avoid jargon
  7. Include an image – or, even better, make a video – to attract attention
  8. Link to related material
  9. Provide updates on earlier posts
  10. Call for action: ask questions of the reader / viewer; invite comments
  11. Share your post or video widely on LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media
  12. Check back for comments and questions
  13. Interact with other Experts: share and vote on their posts and videos, ask them questions, and they will do the same for you
  14. Contact our Head of Communities if you need help or to discuss your ideas
